Galapagos Cruises is the way to experience the Galapagos Islands.  On our ship, the Galapagos Explorer II, you’ll have opportunity through our many programs to view the islands both above and below the sea, as Charles Darwin may have.  Because we cater to families, limiting group size to no more than 16, your family can learn about evolution in the most amazing ways.

While in the Galapagos, Darwin researched and determined how species evolved, what geography, diet, and time leads to changes in how all life develops.  Our staff and partners help show an educational process like no other – through hiking, boating, water ‘sporting’, bird-watching, and much more.

Additionally, Galapagos island tours offer visits to the Galapagos National Park specified habitat areas and the Charles Darwin Station.  Each area is led by a tour guide specifically certified in the Naturalist program.  Because there are so many different degrees of evolutionary adaptations, the guides are particularly adept in educating through the ‘classroom without walls’ concept.  “To see and hear” is a powerful way to impress on children, adolescents, parents and grandparents this part of the world and the pervasive impact Darwin has had on science, particularly biology.

Fun activities also abound when we teach grandma and grandpa and grandchildren alike how to towel fold or make puppets!  Spanish lessons, Karaoke, and theme parties such as King Neptune’s or the Pirate’s Party can be enjoyed by the entire family as well.
