Our support to preserve the Galapagos Islands
We actively support the conservation of the Islands participating in the programs Galapagos National Park, Charles Darwin Station, Municipality of San Cristobal, San Cristobal Municipal, INNFA San Cristobal, Galapagos Foundation and other local organizations.
Beyond meeting the standards imposed by the Galapagos National Park, we care about preserving the environment of the Islands, using certified procedures and controlled by management systems and in 2001 applied to the certification of "Smart Voyage - Rainforest Alliance" which recognizes that properly managed tourism can contribute to the conservation, sustainable development and the improvement of poverty, and in 2008 we were certified ISO 14001 for the only international standard that allows us to establish, document, implement, maintain and continuously improve a system environmental management.
