”To appreciate a river, mountain or forest for the challenge
it poses is to miss the real adventure in Nature travel:
To appreciate the complexities of things beyond ourselvs.”

GENOVESA ISLAND

The island is the tip of a submerged volcano that rise 76 m above the sea level. Genovesa is a very dry island, with characteristic vegetation because of its isolated position. However, it is a paradise for sea birds, including large colonies of the red-footed boobies and great frigate birds.
